When Squirrel meets Yellow Bird Fox starts to feel left out because he can not do all of the things that Squirrel and Yellow Bird can do together, but Squirrel loves his friend and knows how important he is.
Since the chracters liked to climb and play in the trees we made our own painted trees with finger print leaves. We decided to go with fall colours and made our finger print leaves red, yellow and orange.
We had lots of fun reading about Fox and Squirrel and making our trees! Maddison won the book and was very excited to take it home to read.
