Ringing in the New Year with Momstown

This year our Momstown New Years Eve (12:00pm) Party was one to remember! I think it was way more fun than what I was doing at 12:00am that night. We had a great time. We had over 120 friends attend our party and there was tons to do. We teamed up with Parkview Church and hosted the party in their beautiful facility. They have a kids climber play area that all of the kids enjoyed. Parkview supplied coffee and tea for all of our parents and some delicious cotton candy for the kids (and parents too!).

We had three crafts available at different tables. There was some colouring at on table, we were making paper plate tambourines at another table and the last table we were making very colourful New Years eve party hats.

There was a special little hang and play area for the babies and their mommies away from some of the chaos. Right before Noon we had one of the biggest circle times we have ever had and we sang and danced. When it was even closer to noon everyone grabbed a cup of apple juice (with a little bubbly ginger ale in it) and a cookie and waited for the grand finale……

WE HAD A BALLOON DROP!

We counted down from ten and when the clock sturck noon the balloons did drop and we made tons of noise.

What a great way to start the year! Momstown Guelph has a lot of changes with our new location at Whipper Snipperz and new member of the team, Sue and we know 2015 is going to be an amazing year so if you have not checked out our new place, come by for a visit and get out of the cold.

Happy New Year!

Miss Courtney
