Hot Rod Hamster Kids Book Club!

June 10, 2011momstownPreschooler, ToddlersNo comments
Thanks Scholastic, we enjoyed this month’s book “Hot Rod Hamster”!

Today was our monthly kids book club here at momstown Guelph. We met out in the playground at Riverside Park and once the kids had run off some of their energy we sat down for snack and a book.

Our momstown themed curriculum for the month is construction and to go along with that theme we read the book Hot Rod Hamster. In this story the Hamster builds himself a cool hot rod! The book really engages the kids asking them to choose what type of car, tires and flames they would choose for the Hamster!

A big thank you to our sponsor Scholastic for providing with not just one book to read but a second book to give away to one lucky mom! The winner of that book today was Elisa! Congratulations Elisa!

If you want to join us for our monthly kids book clubs or for any of our other 30+ events a month make sure you register on the site!
