We loved looking at the beautiful drawings of porcupine and his friends as they rode through the snow.
Everyone loved when the presents started to fall from Santa’s sleigh and everyone was trading presents.
This month our French book club was sponsored by Scholastic Canada and we read a very festive, fun book. Even in French you could hear the music hopping off of the pages. We read Vive Le Vent D'hiver by Helaine Becker, it was a classic Christmas song we all know but with a very Canadian twist.

Some of the french words we learnt were
D'hiver – winter
arbre – tree
cadeau – gift or present
Pere Noel – Santa Claus
For our craft we made some snowman looking up in the winter sky and used some white tissue paper to make lots of snow falling all around.
We sang some of our favourite winter songs about being a snowman and we did the Snokey Pokey!
Our winner of the book, Matteo was a happy little guy to take this book home!
