We started off with some play time for the kiddies, and chatting time for the mommies.
This month's book was Perfect Snow by Barbara Reid. In the story, snow comes one night, and the next morning it's Perfect Snow for the schoolyard. Scott is making snowmen, and Jim wants to build the world's best snowfort. They find a way to work together to make a great creation from the perfect snow!
After story time, we held a draw to win a copy of Perfect Snow. Thanks to Scholastic Canada for sponsoring our Children's Book Club,

The illustrations in the book are all made of play-doh! After story time, the kids
had fun playing with some play-doh and making their own creations.
