momstown Guelph met once again for our monthly Children's Book Club, which is sponsored by Scholastic Canada!
This month's book was A Porcupine in a Pine Tree – A Canadian 12 Days of Christmas written by Helaine Becker and illustrated by Werner Zimmerman.
This is the classic 12 Days of Christmas, but with a Canadian twist! There are beavers, caribou, loons, and even Stanley Cups!
The children loved the cute pictures of all the animals as they gathered around the pine tree. It's a great book to read or sing.
We ended our morning by raffling off a copy of the book generously donated by Scholastic Canada! Clinton was this month's lucky winner!
