Here are some quick and easy ways to get homemade Valentines with less work.
So homemade Valentines are a nice touch but often they seem like a lot of effort, especially if your child had 30 kids in their class like my daughter does this year. However buying 30 valentines from the store can cost you both time and money as well. Here are some quick and easy ways to get the homemade Valentine's with less work.
Find some online printable – there are lots of great free printable online. Find something you like and print off what you need. Then all you have to do is cut them out and fill in the names.
Design your own – if you are handy on the computer you can design your own and print them out yourself.
Colour it in – if cutting and pasting is still too difficult for your little one try cutting out heart shapes and just allowing them to colour on each shape as a personal touch. I did this for my daughter last year and it was really easy.
Use stickers – again make it easier on younger ones by pre-cutting the shape and using stickers to dress it up.
Stamp it out – this is an easy way to create a lot of the same pattern. You can buy a stamp or make your own using household items. Like this Valentine's heart cookie cutter craft from momstown.ca!
Have fun spreading the love this year! Please feel free to share what you do for Valentines in the comments below!
