Hip Hip Horray, it is green day!! or St. Patrick’s Day. Why do we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? St. Patrick’s Day or the Feast of St. Patrick, celebrates the death of the patron saint of Ireland St. Patrick.
We celebrated momstown Style with some songs, a book, crafts and sensory play. What a better book to read at a green party than Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham. Poor Sam doesn’t like green eggs and ham, until he actually tries them. After trying them he decides he likes them and will eat them anywhere.
Our craft this week was the Cat in the Hats, Hat.
For our sensory play we made green Ooblek. This was such a fun activity that the kids are still playing with their Ooblek at home.
