Escape the Summer Heat

August 15, 2014momstownFamily LifeNo comments
Want to escape the summer heat? Visit one of Guelph’s splash pads!

Its a hot summer day and you are looking for something different to cool everyone off. You've been swimming at the pool, built sand castles and swam at the beach, and you have jumped through the sprinkler so many times you have lost count. You want to do something different, we have thought of the perfect idea for you! Splash pads!

A splash pad or spray pool is a area usually found in a public park that is used for water play but has little to no standing water, making it a safer environment for the little ones to play. Splash pads are a perfect way to escape the summer heat, get outdoors, run around and get wet. Because they are usually found in a public park, it is a perfect opportunity for the whole family to spend some needed time together. Pack up a picnic, bring the sun screen and hats and get ready to have a fun filled day!

Splash Pads available in Guelph are;
