This month at Contes pour les bouts d'choux we read Histoires Pour le Soir by Sam Taplin. http://www.usborne.fr/catalogue/catalogue.asp?css=1&cat=2&subject=E&subcat=EA&id=4713
Chacune met en scène un bébé animal avec ses parents, au moment de s’endormir. Each story is about a baby animal and their parent as they are going to sleep.
Beditme routine is important for a good nights sleep. Routine should be quiet and consistent and predictable.
One lucky child got to keep the book and enjoy it as part of their bedtime routine.
After our story we had playtime and social time for the moms.
Once a month, momstown Guelph holds a French book club sponsored by Scholastic Canada. This month's book was La Nuit de Noel by Barbara Reid.
It tells the story The Night Before Christmas using cute little mice. The children has fun learning new French words while reading it in French, and we read it in English as well.
Story time was followed by play time, of course! 🙂 And one lucky winner got to take home a copy of the book to add to their Christmas book collection.
