One of our regular monthly programs at momstown Guelph is our French Book Club, Contes pour les bouts d’choux. Like our other book clubs, it is sponsored by Scholastic Canada.

This month's book was Le souriceau du metro by Barbara Reid. It's a cute story about a mouse that wants to escape the subway tunnels.

One lucky winner got to take a copy of the book home with them!

After reading the story the children had some fun free play time while moms got to chat.

Once a month, momstown Guelph has a French Book Club called Contes pour les bouts d’choux. This is one of our events which is sponsored by Scholastic Canada! They generously give us two copies of a book; one to read and one to raffle off to a lucky winner.

This month's book was Je suis un train, a cute shaped story about different types of trains.

After reading the story, we sang some train songs and some other favourites.

The children had fun pretending to be trains and taking turns being the engine and the caboose!

Before heading home, we raffled off a copy which our lucky winner got to take home with her. (She wanted to read it again right away!)
