On Friday momstown Guelph, Milton, Kitchener-Waterloo and Burlington all met at Springridge Farm to go strawberry picking!
We arrived and gathered the troops (thanks to momstown Milton owner Sam who was happy to stand up and shout "momstown moms over here, can we have momstown moms over here") and then we all headed out on the tractor pulled wagon to get to the strawberry patch.
There was a lot of picking going on but somehow my basket just did not fill up as much as should be expected! Might just have to go back for another visit before the season is over!
Along with picking strawberries Springridge offers many activities for the kids. Once we had our berries we headed over to their giant sandbox filled with Tonka trucks of all sizes. (A great addition to our day since this months momstown curriculum theme is construction.)
A first experience for some that went over VERY well!
Our next group outing is to Kelso beach so make sure you have signed up on the calendar!
