Nurse Next Door offers choice in home cares services. Senior care and now, exclusive to the Milton, Guelph Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo area is the New Mom and Baby program.

The transition from couple to family is profound and permanent. There are so many things to learn, so many adjustments to make and all during a very short period of time. Most women are making these transitions while they physically recover from birthing their baby. The physical and emotional changes can be overwhelming for many families.

Nurse Next Door is here to offer support, encouragement and assistance in the home during these first few weeks of new family life. The New Mom and Baby program matches an educated, experienced caregiver with you and your needs.

With expertise in “making lives better” Nurse Next Door team members are able to provide support in the home for families with a single babe, twins, triplets or more. Educated in newborn care, they provide assistance with breast feeding and other infant feeding techniques. Sleep breaks for mom and dad are important and our nurses often work overnight so new parents can rest.

Emotional encouragement is important for all new parents, especially those that are living far away from family and close friends. Peace of mind for new parents and new grandparents gives more time and ability to focus on the newest addition to the family.

Nurse Next Door caregivers are skilled in meal preparation and light housekeeping. The easier the first few weeks are for any family, the happier and healthier all family members will be.

Nurse Next Door New Mom and Baby program helps this happen.
